Trata-se de um anel de pequena dimensão possivelmente usado por uma criança ou usado num fio pendurado ao pescoço. Tendo em conta que o achado se encontra na Capela de Nossa Senhora da Piedade, construída para panteão da família Cotrim, o anel poderá ter pertencido a um membro desta família, podendo até provavelmente ser um anel heráldico por apresentar um motivo enxaquetado similar às conhecidas armas dos Cotrins, visíveis na chave da abóbada da Capela.

The artifact was collected on the hand of skeleton 3 (female). It is a small ring possibly worn by a child or on a string around the neck. Taking into account that it was found at Nossa Senhora da Piedade Chapel, built for the pantheon of the Cotrim family, the ring may have belonged to a member of this family, and it may even be a heraldic ring because it has a chekered motif similar to the known Cotrins coat of arms, visible in the vault's keystone of the Chapel.
